What is involved in the Ultimate Laser Facial?
To start, we double cleanse your skin using a cleanser suited to you and prepare your skin for the goodness to follow.
Following the cleanse, using Laser Genesis we deliver gentle micro-pulses of laser energy to the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and redness to diminish the signs of ageing and to achieve beautiful, brilliant-looking skin with no downtime.
Laser Genesis utilises an infra-red wavelength laser that gently bulk-heats the skin to 40 degrees. This bulk-heating action stimulates the cells to produce more collagen and elastin, and improves blood circulation as well as lymphatic flow, while diffusing any underlying redness in the skin.
A Bespoke Chemical Peel is then applied to the skin (sometimes before the laser genesis, depending on peel type used on the day). This feels like a ‘stingle’ – a subtle sting and a tingle in one. It is a bit itchy and may be slightly uncomfortable for some, but it is soon alleviated with some skin tapping by our clinician. We offer a wide range of chemical peels at Pavilion ranging from very superficial peels carrying very little downtime, to medium peels that need some time to recover from. Chemical peels assist with the shedding and turnover of your skin, allowing fresh new skin to resurface once regenerated.
The peel is then removed after the time is up and we finish off the treatment with a photo-biomodulating light – also known as the LED Healite. This light stimulates ATP production, which increases cellular energy, thereby increasing the cellular activity and function. This helps to decrease inflammation, speed up the healing process and reduce redness at the same time.
Key Benefits
- Little to no downtime
- Relaxing treatment
- Short-term and long-term results seen
- Immediate glow to skin
- Safe to do before special event
- Reduces / diffuses redness
- Increases collagen and elastin production in skin
There is no downtime for the Laser Genesis and Healite component of the Ultimate Laser Facial. However, the chemical peel is customised to suit your skin type, concerns and your preferences for downtime. At most, some clients will experience some dryness and mild skin flaking for 3-5 days post procedure.
After the peel is then removed, we wrap up the treatment session for you with a relaxing and regenerating Healite II LED Light. This light therapy device is clinically proven to stimulate ATP production, which increases cellular energy – serving to decrease inflammation and accelerate the healing process while simultaneously diffusing redness. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What can I expect my skin to look like after an Ultimate Laser Facial?
Your skin will look fresh, ‘glow-y’ and plump. There may be some mild redness, which will dissipate within a couple of hours after treatment.
Is there any pain involved?
There is no pain involved. There may be a slight discomfort while the peel is on the skin but this feels like a minor tingle only. You can also expect to feel a little heat when doing the Laser Genesis (very tolerable). The heat is often described as ‘warm rain drops’ – so for most people, they find it quite relaxing.
How many treatments do I need to see a result?
One treatment is all that is needed to see short-term results. Treatment is best performed 2-4 weeks before an event. For longer term results, we typically recommend one session once a month for three months, and maintenance treatment every 1-3 months.
Do I need to take time off for this treatment?
No! This treatment is designed to be a little-to-no downtime treatment. The ‘little’ downtime that may be involved is dry and flaky skin for 3-5 days, however this treatment can be customised to suit everyone and their downtime preferences uniquely.
I’m getting married soon, how long before should I have this done?
Firstly, congratulations!
We recommended planning for your big day 6-12 months ahead, depending on your concerns. We offer a wide range of dermal and injectable treatments to prep your skin for the big day – and an initial consultation is always recommended in order to come up with a holistic bespoke plan for each individual.
If you do not have 6-12 months, our team of practitioners can still help – the earlier you see us the better.
Can I have the peel, healite and laser genesis treatments done separately?
Yes absolutely. You can visit us every 2 weeks instead and alternate between the peel and healite in one session; and then look to have Laser Genesis in another. This works better for those with slightly more sensitive skin, or those who prefer more regular treatments.
How much is the Ultimate Laser Facial?
The Ultimate Laser Facial treatment is priced at $480 when performed in a single treatment session; valued at $650 when performed as standalone treatments.
Do you offer packages?
Yes! For 3x of the same treatments purchased upfront you save 10%; and for 6x of the same treatments purchased upfront you save 20%.
