MicroPen, How it works?

Micro-needling is a form of collagen induction therapy, using tiny needles to stimulate the body’s natural healing response.

Micro-needling can also be combined with PRP treatment, performed by our Dermal Practitioner. Perfect for improved skin texture and tone, reducing pigmentation and improving scarring, with minimal downtime.

How to prepare your skin for the winter months

Key benefits

  • Reducing pigmentation including melasma
  • Reducing acne scarring and surgical scars by up to 80%
  • Treating fine lines and combating the signs of ageing
  • Improving texture and reducing congestion

Results

After your first treatment you will get significant improvements to the texture, tone and appearance of your skin. A course of 3 to 6 treatments is recommended to achieve your best results, usually spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart as the skin will need some time to build the maximum amount of collagen and new cells to restore your skin appearance.

Your Treatment Experience

At Pavilion Cosmetic Medicine, your Micro needling treatment will be performed by our Dermal Practitioner. You will feel some tiny needles going quickly into your skin which feels like scratching your skin.

Your skin can be numbed prior to the treatment to reduce discomfort and can feel like a scratch on the skin.

You may notice a slight redness immediately after treatment which will resolve within a few hours or up to 24 hours.

Your full post-care treatment information sheets will be given to you at the time of your treatment.
