About Morpheus8

Tighten and rejuvenate your skin to the deepest layers

The Morpheus8 Revolution

It is our goal at Pavilion Cosmetic Medicine (PCM) to offer you the most advanced and effective non-surgical treatments available. One of the most innovative new technologies is Morpheus8, a microneedling device that uses radio-frequency energy to contract connective tissue under the skin, stimulate collagen production and remodel the underlying structure of the skin.

Smooth, radiant skin is something we all strive for, regardless of our age. Over time, our skin loses its ability to produce collagen and elastin, the building blocks of plump, firm and smooth skin.

Morpheus8 is part of the world-leading EmbraceRF technology. It is the first full-body radiofrequency microneedling device to morph and sculpt ageing skin. What makes Morpheus8 treatment stand apart from other microneedling devices available is that it can also be used to remodel subdermal fatty tissue, contouring areas of the face and body for natural-looking anti-ageing results.

By strategically “moulding” fat and stimulating collagen, Dr Gav and his team at PCM take steps to recreate the smooth contours necessary to maintain a youthful appearance and at the same time tighten skin on the face and body. We at Pavilion Cosmetic Medicine are one of the first clinics to acquire this ground breaking device, as featured in Marie Claire. As such our highly skilled practitioners have significant experience with Morpheus8 treatments, delivering sensational results to the face, neck and body for our clients.

In 2022, Pavilion Cosmetic Medicine have been awarded by InMode as the ‘TOP Morpheus8 CLINIC’.

Results

Morpheus8 begins to stimulate changes in both the outer and underlying skin layers immediately after the first treatment.

You should be able to see improvements in your skin’s texture and quality within a few days of your treatment. Optimal results – including tighter, brighter skin with enhanced contours – will gradually appear over the next 3 months as your body begins to produce more collagen and elastin and tissue remodelling takes effect.

Results from Morpheus8 are long lasting. In some cases, the tightening and rejuvenation effects can last for years, subject to the natural ageing process. A maintenance treatment performed once or twice per year can help prolong the effects.

While there is typically no downtime, some mild redness, swelling and small dots to the skin could last up to a maximum of 3-5 days.

Depending on the strength of your treatment, a single treatment or a series of 2-4 treatment sessions may be recommended to achieve optimal results. During your consultation, our practitioner will work with you to tailor a treatment plan for your specific needs, requirements and desired outcomes.

What to expect

Consultation and Treatment Planning

Morpheus8 is a versatile treatment and can be customised to suit your individual needs and aesthetic goals. At Pavilion Cosmetic Medicine, we offer Morpheus8 ‘Light’ and ‘Strong’ treatments. Our cosmetic doctors will listen to your concerns and desired results, explain treatment options and recommend the type of Morpheus8 treatment that best suits your needs.

The ‘Light’ treatment typically requires 3-4 treatments spaced a month apart. The ‘Strong’ treatment may require 1-2 treatments only.

Prior to treatment, a consultation is required so we can tailor an appropriate treatment plan for your goals and desires.

Your first step?

Book a Morpheus8 consultation to determine suitability and to identify a treatment plan for your targeted treatment areas of concern:

Procedure

Before Morpheus8 microneedling treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied to the treatment area. For added comfort, an injectable local anaesthesia (by Doctor-only) is offered as an optional add-on, which is recommended for stronger treatments. You should feel little discomfort during the procedure.

The treatment itself is minimally invasive, using a series of medical-grade micro pins to penetrate your skin in a controlled manner and deliver fractional Radio Frequency (RF) energy to the deeper skin layers.

Downtime and Recovery

Downtime is typically 2-3 days, with some mild redness and swelling for the first two days as well as some temporary small dotted marks from the microneedling. Tiny scabs, or micro lesions, are also common during this time. Makeup can be applied 1-2 days post treatment, if desired.

Morpheus8 is generally a low-downtime procedure and many of our patients return to work the day after treatment.
