Dr Toshi Zia || Pavilion Cosmetic Medicine
Dr Chaudhary Tauseef Zia, (otherwise known as “Dr Toshi”), graduated from Quaid E Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan in 2002 with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery.
For more than twenty years, Dr Toshi has worked within the spheres of hospital-based, surgical, and cosmetic medicine. He approaches his work wholeheartedly, holistically, and with one hand on the Hippocratic oath.
Passionate about ongoing education, Dr Toshi earned himself a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology with Cardiff University (Wales, UK), and a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine from the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. He is an active member and Fellow with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Medicine (ACAM).
Who is Dr Toshi?
Dr Toshi believes in fully understanding his patient before going on a journey of facial analysis or prescribing a bespoke management plan. He prefers not to use the general term ‘anti-ageing’, because he believes that getting older is a gift. He collaborates with those he treats, fusing their desires with his unique ability to deliver natural results that embrace the privilege of ageing. He sees beauty in everyone and is skilfully able to achieve natural results by identifying and enhancing ones most positive facial features.
Dr Toshi works with several media personalities and influencers with his acute awareness and understanding of digital presentation and aesthetics. Specialising in combining wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, bio stimulating volumizers, collagen stimulating threads, mechanical threads and energy-based devices, he can come up with ongoing plans that are tailored, effective, and personalised.
Dr Toshi has a keen interest in industry standards and a strong desire to support emerging practitioners in the evolving industry of Cosmetic Medicine. He regularly shares his knowledge with eager learners through formal and informal teaching and is currently working with Dr Ben Chan and Dr Gavin Scriven to pioneer one of Australia’s finest cosmetic injectables training programs.
Dr Toshi is an emerging physician in the field of Cannabis Medicine. He maintains a keen interest in the therapeutic benefits of cannabis and remains focused on integrating this natural compound in the holistic approach towards helping his patients achieve a better quality of life. Dr Toshi likes to work closely with individual patients and develop personalised treatment plans that address their unique wellbeing needs.
As an authorised prescriber of medicinal cannabis, Dr Toshi is an active member of a number of global cannabis medicine research communities and is passionate about staying up to date with the latest advances and guidelines in the safe and ethical practice of cannabis medicine.
When he’s not at work, Dr Toshi enjoys the performing arts. He studied acting and theatre in high school and spends much of his leisure time experiencing world cinema and live musical performances. He’s a family man who loves to walk on the beach at sunrise and read with his three-year-old daughter.
